No. As the jacket dries, it fades back to black, ready for the next rain. No batteries and nothing to reset.

Almost instantly. The second a raindrop lands, color shows up right where it hit, and it keeps spreading as the rain keeps coming. Once you're out of the rain, it fades back to black as the jacket dries. How long that takes depends on the weather and airflow. It resets on its own, every time it rains.

We'll be straight with you: it's a lightweight rain shell, not a heavy-duty storm suit. The outer fabric is water-repellent and sheds the rain you hit on a commute or a ride. If you're heading into hours of steady downpour, wear a base layer underneath and you'll stay comfortable.

No. The color only reacts to liquid water landing on the outside of the jacket, like rain, spray or a splash from a puddle. Sweat and humid air won't set it off, so it stays black until the rain actually shows up.

No. It is a rain shell, not impact or abrasion protection, and it is not certified safety equipment. Keep wearing your full protective gear and use this as a layer over it.

Order your usual size to wear it over a hoodie. Over a padded or armored jacket, go one size up.

Email us and we'll help you swap it. The fastest way is usually to return the original (unworn, with tags) and place a new order for the size you want.

Orders are processed in 1–3 business days. In the United States, standard delivery usually takes 8–18 business days after your order ships. International delivery depends on your country and customs, and usually takes a little longer. Every order ships with tracking.

United States, Canada and the UK: free standard shipping on every order.

All other countries: a flat $8.99 international shipping fee, shown at checkout.

We ship worldwide to the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America.

We don't currently ship to Africa, the British or US Virgin Islands, Hawaii, other US territories (like Puerto Rico and Guam), military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO) or PO Boxes. Please use a street address at checkout.

Orders shipped outside the United States may be charged import duties, taxes or customs fees by your country. These aren't included in our prices or shipping and are paid on delivery.

Every order ships with tracking. Use the tracking number in your shipping email on our Track Order page, or sign in with your order email to see your order status.

Email us as soon as possible. We can update the address as long as the order hasn't shipped yet.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition with tags. Email us with your order number to start a return. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong.

Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We'll send a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

Once we receive and inspect your return, approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
